The Summers

The Summers. A summer day in Knoxville, Tennessee full of intentionality, details, color, joy so free and fervent. What an absolute honor it was to be a small piece of this day, ebbing and flowing through the hugs, the squeals, the dabbing away of tears (and sweat), hiding from the sun and running from the rain, by the end of the day, we felt like just a couple of friends attending their day ourselves. Praise the Lord for Lily, praise the Lord for Noah, praise the Lord that He saw it fit to make them one, and praise the Lord that we got to see the day this covenant was made.
