Preslee + Chris

Through high winds and tides, Preslee and Chris shared memories of ventures from the dunes to the shores on Pismo, separate lives entirely lived, with toes in this very sand, but now their lives intertwined. How poetic it feels, sitting with these photos. as someone who only knows Preslee and Chris together, to imagine that they both separately grew up, riding buggies in these dunes, camping, surfing, collecting (and returning) shells and clams a plenty that sit in the shores we’re walking along now. So unaware and unassuming that to this beach they’d return one day together, hand in hand, in full declaration saying, “love of my life, we will be wed.”

What a joy it is to know Preslee and Chris, what a joy it was to document their love in a place that resonated so much for the both of them, and what a joy it will be to document their wedding day.
