There’s something so special about what we do, documenting seasons of life and love. Christiaan and I especially love that in this job, we have opportunity to get to know new people, step into their lives for just a moment to celebrate and create art for them. But, we would be lying if we said we didn’t feel an even deeper joy when we get to celebrate those whom we love most, those couples that we have gotten the honor to watch their entire love story up until this point play out before us, when we get to document the lives of those whom we know so well and cherish and love.

That’s how we felt about this afternoon with macy and josh. We know these two so well, know their hearts, know their love for each other and their even greater love for the Lord. It is an honor that we don’t take lightly to get to document anyone’s story, but man, does it hit home when we get to document the story of those who we are so, so thankful for. We love macy, we love josh. We loved this summer evening with them. and we cannot wait to celebrate their wedding day with them.
